In fall of 2018 Dr. Braxton Hunter travelled to Turkey to host an ambitious documentary! It would be the first single documentary series to capture all seven of the churches of Asia Minor listed in The Book of Revelation. For over a month, he and co-host Stephen Franks trekked across the nation with a Turkish/Iranian film crew capturing unbelievable footage that brings these biblical sites to life. The Journey is intended to engage both a Christian and secular audience as each episode covers far more than church history. However, the biblical text comes alive. A team of multiple seminary students and professors was rallied in order to craft the script. They did a fantastic job. What this work presents is an opportunity for those who will never travel to this fantastic land to experience it for themselves. In many ways, Turkey is the world of the New Testament. Now we’re taking you along with us!
